Trish vs. pot roast

Well, I've been really intimidated by red meat in my cooking life. This means that right now our freezer is full of red meat collected over the last few weeks. So after Cath was here and told me exactly what to do, I'm attempting to conquer this fear and take on the pot roast.

So far, so good. It looks kind of gross though, but apparently it gets better?.

I'll post the winner of this challenge later.
