Clorox Wipes...

I've been thinking all day about things I wanted to blog about. Tons of random ideas have come into my head today that i obviously thought the world should know... but now, i have so many to choose from.
let's see...
1. how i daydream, and NEVER used to
2. my feelings on steak
3. february being over and spring on the rise (i even thought of catchy titles for this one, like "Fairwell February", or "Shout out to Spring"---i'm a sucker for cheesy alliteration)

and lucky winner number 5. Clorox wipes.

I've decided this is the blogging gem. i couldnt tell you why except for the fact that i just down right loves those quilted little sanitizing warriors. Our costco FINALLY had them on sale this month (one thing that February was good for), and i bought them. Yes, from costco which means a solid 4 packs of them for just $6 or $8 bucks--i dont remember cause all i saw was their brightly colored packages calling out to me from the shelves.

These things are my equivelant to windex for the guy from my big fat greek wedding. I would carry them in my back pocket if i could. they work for cleaning everything, fast and easy. no bleach---my biggest fear since sixth grade when i was cleaning out my gym locker and got some on my hands which i obviously wiped on my clothes ruining my favorite pair of flaired khakis, and no sponges-- which cause me to be a slight germ-o-phobe. it lengthens the lifespan of my paper towels, and works on all kinds of surfaces.

I love those guys and they deserve a moment in the spotlight.
Now my fear is for our future, when i run out of my best little friends, and costco doesnt have them on sale....

Home Sweet Someone-Else's-Home

So Adam and i are house sitting this weekend for our friends Nick and Alyssa, and their two super cute dogs-Reef (the sweetest lab, retriever, and mastiff mix) and Artey (the most adorable spunky beagle). And even though it'll the 3rd weekend i haven't been at our home, i'm super excited. Here's why....


...they have a gym... with a sauna.
...and they've DVRd for me the Duke v. Carolina game from last week.
...and they have cable.
...and 2 cute dogs.

Should be a good long weekend. i know i'll be excited to finally be home though.

My wish is his command...

ok not really. I'm not that bossy. (Obviously since he had his mustache for 1 1/2 months).... BUT TODAY, Feb. 3, 2009 at approximately 6 30 PM my month and a half long dream came true. Adam has shaved his mustache. It's gone, all over, a wrap, brought about, brought to pass, buttoned up.... he's clean shaven!


I feel like I've won the lottery!!
