Pork Help

ok all you awesome home-makers, chefs, and cooking gurus...

costco had a sale on pork chops . and after having my sister-in-law make some good pork over christmas i thought i'd give it a try. but now we have about a million pounds of pork in our freezer. Keeping in mind they are chops, not a roast or tenderloin, does anyone have good recipes?

key points to look for: easy, quick, or not a lot of ingredients... doesnt have to be all three but the more the merrier.

grab a box of stove top and some shake and bake...and you can either slice the chop and stuff it or simply plop the stuffing on top and bake...either way its delicous. I generally serve this with twice baked potatoes and baked asparagus.

why aren't I married yet?

I use Kraft "Oven Fry Extra Crispy Pork" (very similar to Shake & Bake) In our store it is in the baking isle. It's fairly inexpensive, easy, fast and tastes good. I also like to fry them in a frying pan until brown on both sides, then add a can of cream of mushroom soup and let simmer for 20-30 minutes (make sure they aren't pink inside) and serve them over rice. My kids are kinda picky and they all like both ways. Good Luck!
Love ya,

Trish- Here is one of my fav. ways to make Pork Chops. I made it for my best friend Katie and she loved it, too.
In a bowl combine: 1 1/2 cups crushed seasoned stuffing cubes (you can find these in the bread aisle of the store-it is not stove top), 1 medium tart apple (try the green ones or a tart red one), 3 Tablespoons of melted butter, 1 Tablespoon of sugar, 1/4 Teaspoon of sage, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 cup of raisins.
Put it in a greased casserole that is microwave safe. Put 4 pork chops on top of the stuffing mix. Sprinkle with 1 envelope of pork gravy mix (you can find this near the gravy and mixes in the packets at the store). Cover the dish and microwave on HIGH for 8-10 minutes. SO FAST and easy because it cooks in the microwave.
Yum yum! :)
